Friends of White House Farm is the ongoing community of visitors to the garden in the past and future. Friends receive information about open days and events via our bi-annual newsletter.
To suggest an event such as a Study Day for a particular genus or species, join the Friends of White House Farm, ask us a specific question about WHF collections, reserve a space for an Open Day, or request dates for group visits, send us a message.
Visits
Guided tours for 10-40 people, including refreshments, are available by request from Wednesdays through Saturdays. These follow your questions and interests, with tea, coffee and biscuits provided. We ask for a donation of £15 per person, and are registered for Gift Aid. Tell us the expected number in your group, your preferred dates and times of day (morning or afternoon or both). Single visitors, or smaller numbers can be bundled with others – so please still get in touch.
We also have Open Days, which start with coffee/tea from 10am, with short introductory talk(s) at 10.30, and guided tours setting off at 11 (the Garden), and again at 2pm (the Wood and Arboretum). Bring your own picnic lunch. There’s a summing up Q & A and Plant of the Day over tea at 4pm.
