Friends also operate the Volunteer Group, who hold Afternoon Gardening Teas roughly once a week from March to October: weeding, tidying and light garden duties followed by afternoon tea, with tidbits of advice from Maurice or other experts and the occasional plant – certainly flowers – to take home.
The only request is that Volunteers participate regularly.
Volunteering gives people a chance to learn the garden’s transformation through its different seasons, and its many hidden and detailed delights.
We hope all Volunteers will come to feel part of White House Farm.
